About

Hi! I’m Its21Master, also known simply as “21,” a pop and hip-hop artist based in Singapore. I kicked off my rap act in 2018 when I released my debut single. The song, “Thrown in Your Face,” allowed me to dive into the world of hip-hop music, with a hint of old-school hip-hop.

So… who am I?

At the age of 10, I was exposed to the world of rap music where I was greatly inspired by artists such as Eminem, Busta Rhymes and DMX. I found rap music, and afterwards other genres such as R&B captivating, and it inspired me to write my own rhymes.

When I was 14, I listened to beats on YouTube and began writing songs in my bedroom. It was also when I released my first ever track.

Music has always been a hobby of mine. To me, it is a place for me to express myself in ways that mere conversation fails to.

My first ‘official’ song.

After releasing “Thrown in Your Face”, I wrote a love song with a fictional story about falling in shallow love with a girl. I was gifted with the opportunity to work with a platinum-certified producer, Mantra Beats, and a grammy-nominated audio engineer, Beau Vallis, to create this song. To this day, I am extremely proud of this track.

What happened after?

After ‘Come Over’, I continued to write new music on a regular basis and was obsessed with improving my musical skills. I am not someone who is extraordinarily talented at rapping or singing, but I have come to a point where I believe that self-confidence is key to making the best songs at any level.

Surprisingly, being a teenage student who occasionally rapped as a passion, a few of my songs received great traction. Though I do not currently pursue music as a full-time career nor use it to earn money, I was certainly happy when one of my tracks, “SUPERSTAR”, hit over a hundred thousand streams on Spotify.

What’s next?

Now, I simply create music as a hobby and I absolutely love learning from the many opportunities that this hobby has brought to me. If you happen to enjoy listening to some of my tunes, just know that I’m really grateful for your support. I will continue to improve on my own musical skills and bring my music to the next level. I do have many areas for improvement, but I am proud of where I am today.

Thank you for reading all of this. I appreciate it.
