About

Hi! I’m Its21Master, also known simply as “21,” a pop and hip-hop artist based in Singapore. I kicked off my rap act in 2018 when I released my debut single. The song, “Thrown in Your Face,” allowed me to dive into the world of hip-hop music, with a hint of old-school hip-hop.

So… who am I?

At the age of 10, I was exposed to the world of rap music where I was greatly inspired by artists such as Eminem, Busta Rhymes and DMX. I found rap music, and afterwards other genres such as R&B captivating, and it inspired me to write my own rhymes.

When I was 14, I listened to beats on YouTube and began writing songs in my bedroom. It was also when I released my first ever track.

Music has always been a hobby of mine. To me, it is a place for me to express myself in ways that mere conversation fails to.

My first ‘official’ song.

After releasing “Thrown in Your Face”, I wrote a love song with a fictional story about falling in shallow love with a girl. I was gifted with the opportunity to work with a platinum-certified producer, Mantra Beats, and a grammy-nominated audio engineer, Beau Vallis, to create this song. To this day, I am extremely proud of this track.

What happened after?

After ‘Come Over’, I continued to write new music on a regular basis and was obsessed with improving my musical skills. I am not someone who is extraordinarily talented at rapping or singing, but I have come to a point where I believe that self-confidence is key to making the best songs at any level.

Surprisingly, being a teenage student who occasionally rapped as a passion, a few of my songs received great traction. Though I do not currently pursue music as a full-time career, I was certainly happy when one of my tracks, “SUPERSTAR”, hit over a hundred thousand streams on Spotify. My most recent singles, “On Top of the World” and “Somebody” had both amassed over 900K streams collectively. I don’t like to emphasise on numbers, but I was definitely grateful for the attention listeners gave my music.

What’s next?

Now, I use my connections with playlist curators to help both upcoming and commercially established artists get the attention they deserve by pitching their music to the relevant curators, and I absolutely love learning from the many opportunities that this passion has brought me. With experience in working with over 2000 artists, labels, artist managers alike, I will be stoked to pitch your music to independent spotify playlists.

Let's get your music the attention it absolutely deserves.

Thank you for reading all of this. I appreciate it.
